liked the hero & heroine

I liked both Rory & Lena. Rory was for the most part an ideal hero. Loving, caring, protective and faithful despite being only 18 years old and never have been with anyone other than Lena. Lena too was likable. Hard working, determined & loving, for the most part she seemed down to earth. I liked it that they were both virgins and gave their virginity to each other. It was sweet and the scene sexy. However, they did a few things that irritated me. The major one was their failure to use birth control. I understand that teenagers let hormones get in the way of reason. However, Rory & Lena waited to have sex for 3 years until they were both ready. It did not make sense to me that they waited all that time and then decided to play Russian roulette, sometimes using a condom and other times not feeling like it and going without any type of protection. Also they made important decisions without consulting each other, which I did not understand given how close they were. I wish too that the story was longer than 82 pages because it would allow more character development.

The kind of love everyone should have.

Rory & Lena have loved each other for a long time. Not the puppy love kind of love, but soul wrenching, I'll die without you love. Pure love that so few people find.
Rory is Lena's dream come true from the minute she saw him. Rory is all in when it comes to Lena. Possessive, protective and always on guard for any man stupid enough to touch what's his. He owns her heart and he gladly gave his to her.
They're trying to figure things out for themselves and move forward in their dream of a life together. Plans are made, but they don't always go as we hope.
In order to move forward they have to be apart. Long months separated and trying to get through devastating tragedy alone and scared; Lena reaches out for her rock and he's there.
I loved this book. After reading some very dark series for a while this book was my light. I needed this to remind me how sweet love is and to feel that glow again.
Jenika Snow is one of my favorite authors and her books are an auto-buy for me.

Teenage love =)

I'm in love with Jenika Snow. I honestly don't think I've read one bad book written by her!
This book is just so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. The problems Lena and Rory go through probably are the toughest issues for any couple to get through. As a person who has experienced the same I can't tell you how important it is to have a partner who is there for you no matter what. Whether it's as a shoulder to cry on or an ear to talk to.
**IT IS A SHORT READ! SO BEWARE! BUT THERE IS NO CLIFFHANGER.**
